The International Economic Relations office was born at the end of year 2004 (law 17 Dic. 2004 n.173) has as a main point the increasing of international economic relations of the Republic of San Marino and encourages and brings out, according to the economical policy directories, studies, projects and international agreements with respect to cooperation, trading, double taxes, taxation, fiscal, and Customs.
The office is concerned about international economical relationship issues, consequently sustains the political routes that leads toward the economic internationalization process of the Republic of San Marino. This office depends on the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Political Affairs, and Economic planning, and the Secretary of State for Finance and the Budget, and the Secretary of State for Industry, Handicraft, Trade and Relations with the Public Utilities State Cooperation.
